AXELTRON is a view through the eyes of a recent college graduate as he struggles to find simple solutions to overwhelming feelings of hopelessness and dread.  It might make you feel nostalgic.  It’s an examination into different perspectives, or lack thereof, as characters try to cope with the terrible beauty of everyday life.  It’s also filled with drugs and sex.  It will be released in 3 parts, weekly.

Ryan Alexander-Tanner is a Portland-based cartoonist. He was awarded a Xeric Grant in 2007 to self-publish his one-man anthology comic, Television, and went on to co-author (with Bill Ayers) and illustrate To Teach: The Journey, in Comics for Teacher’s College Press.  He also does a lot of classroom visits, to teach students how to make comics and teachers how to teach them.
