Katelan V. Foisy is a visual artist, writer, tarologist, model and muse. Her collaged portraits and  mixed-media paintings have graced the pages of Scholastic Books and the Grammy Awards program as well as the walls of Young & Rubicam. Her fine art pieces have been displayed at The Worcester Art Museum, Ohio History Museum, Mae West Fest, MODA, Museum of Contemporary Art DC, as well as various galleries throughout Europe and the US. In 2010 Katelan released her memoir Blood and Pudding, based on her teenage experiences with her cousin and boyfriend. Words with Jam magazine called it “the best book of 2010.” She has read at the London National Poetry Society, hosted flash gigs in Oxford with The Project Room & Year Zero Writers and in NYC with Knickerbocker Circus. She also released “The Shaman” a spoken word piece with ABEARICA. She is currently a regular contributor at Electric Literature‘s Outlet blog as well as playing Lucrezia Guerrieri in Cynthia von Buhler’s Speakeasy Dollhouse. She likes cake but is gluten intolerant, prefers coconut creamer in her coffee, and finds keys everywhere.
