Rock n’ comix forever! So, while my friend and cohort in creativity, Aaron Bir, catches up on our Thomas project, I thought I’d run this little ditty he sent me a couple of years ago when I was putting together one of my Rocktronic Mixtape anthologies.  Aaron had emailed me out of the blue, saying he had an idea for a story based on our Americans UK song, “Jobs:  We Don’t Have Them,” and asked me if I would let him run with it. Not too long after, I was getting these pages in my inbox, wherein my fictional self was behaving like quite the cad. I loved it! I also enjoyed how he was experimenting with a brush; I think it adds a real punk rock aesthetic, the way the ink scratches and explodes on the page. And check out the cameos by band mates JTR3 and Von Boiko! Oh, the life of wannabe rock stars. If only.

I’ll be hawking my wares at The MoCCA Art Festival again this year, so stop by table 12, and grab a copy of Rocktronic Mixtape 2, wherein this story appears, along with the corresponding Rocktronic CD!
