I certainly hope this is not the end. One of the great things about relationships is you get to drown over and over until you eventually learn how to swim. And McElroy’s art is beautiful. The only way I could have like the story more would have been if it had been hand-lettered.

Reminds me of my happy childhood and that time I had to watch the neighbors cat, even though the neighbor was still home, and an old woman… who wore a battered nightgown.
